My mother has alzheimer’s disease and is in Arizona. I’m in Washington state. I live from paycheck to paycheck and only have enough money to visit her a couple of times a year. I would like to be able to support her in her time of need more fully, but can’t afford it. Does anyone know of a resource that can help me with this that I am unaware of, such as travel programs, or funds set aside for such things. (Tax deductions really won’t help me buy tickets).
